About Julia
Julia is a seasoned legal professional specializing in real estate, banking, and finance. A graduate of the University of Nairobi, she pursued her LLM at the University of Warwick in the United Kingdom, where she deepened her understanding of international legal frameworks and met her fellow partner, Karanja.
Before co-founding Mukami, Karanja & Co Advocates LLP, Julia built her career at Mboya Wangong'u Advocates, one of Kenya's leading law firms, rising to Senior Associate in the Real Estate, Banking & Finance Department. Over the years, she has advised a wide range of clients on complex property transactions, multi-million shilling developments, project financing, and securities matters, establishing a strong track record in the sector.
At the LLP, Julia combines her deep technical expertise with practical business insight to guide clients through the regulatory, transactional, and financing aspects of real estate and development projects, providing strategic counsel from inception to execution.
